Tibio-talar MET Muscle Energy Technique Static Stretching |
Résumé : |
This study was conducted to investigate the greater effect of the Muscle Energy Technique (MET) comparing to Static Stretching (SS) on the range of motion of the tibio-talar joint after a long term treatment.
In order to achieve this study, a number of thirty subjects were recruited from the students of the European School of Osteopathy.
The subjects were asked to approve the consent form and were aware of the applied technique.
After all the measurement, a T test was used to confirm the statistical efficiency of the techniques.
It was found that each technique was efficient compare to the control group.
It was also found that MET was more efficient than SS, this efficiency was confirmed by the T test. |
