In a certain way, this memoir is the logical result of a curiosity and an incomprehension. The contradictory speech of my teachers. Some of them claim the great diversity of anatomical structures' localisation. The others certify the bad place of my fingers in comparison to the searched structure. At the view of it, I felt like to discover by myself what was really the truth. My fingers felt something, but was it what I believed, what they were saying me it was? The echograhic test was easy and not evasive and was our allied during this study. It has been the medium which has allowed us to be objective in the precision of the osteopathic touch. Realised on 80 volonteers from all the ages, our tests concern the inferior pole of both kidneys, the gall bladder, the pylorus, the Oddi's sphincter and the third duodenum. Thanks to the confirmed echographists' help, we have measured the distance between our fingers and the organ that we could feel. Soon, the results gave us their secretsâ?¦ |
