Medical percussion is one of the four steps of the clinical examination. For the backbone, this technic is an easy mean to detect about some vertebra diseases. In our work, we proposed an adapted method of the percussion technic in order to explore, with an osteopathic sensibility, the density of the vertebra bone. In fact, the feeling of those tissular densities is leading the hands of many osteopaths through the comprehension of the individual. The developpement of this specific percussion was on one hand done with a theoretical research and on the other hand by an experimental research. This part was split in three, in order to bring information about the indications, about the specificity and sensitivity and finaly about the osteopathic implications of this test. The results showed that this test was easy to achieve and that has very few contra-indications. In some cases on the contrary the percussion would suggest to be very carefull about the use of some osteopathic adjustments technics. Langues : Français (fre) |
