The main aim of this project is to verify the efficiency of an osteopathic care on the quality of life of
the patients with cystic fibrosis.
It's why 8 grown-up patients were taken care during 6 months, at the rate of approximately 1 session
by month. This study was made with the cooperation of the CRCM Lille grown-up. The various
measures, articular (in three plans of the space) and respiratory (spirometer, saturation, cardiac
frequency), were resumed from the report of Mr Gauchez. Questionnaires were integrated into the
protocol, in particular the CFQ14 + (allows to estimate the quality of life) and the perception what
have the patients of the treatment.
This project allowed us to demonstrate an improvement on the articular plan, and a stabilization of
the respiratory and digestive symptoms. To obtain even more significant conclusions, the study is
going to be prolonged this year on patients' widened pannel. |
