Résumé : La colopathie fonctionnelle est caractérisée par la réapparition continue de symptômes
certes bénins mais pénibles pour le patient, sur un terrain favorable (hypersensibilité
intestinale, personnalité anxieuse) et sous l'action de facteurs déclenchant.
L'objectif de cette étude est d'évaluer l'efficacité d'un traitement ostéopathique sur une
personne atteinte du syndrome de colon irritable et de définir les meilleures pistes de
traitement.
L'ostéopathie permet un relâchement tissulaire, supprime les tensions faciales, redonne une
dynamique au tube digestif et amène à une désactivation des
mécanorécepteurs/nocicepteurs stoppant l'origine de l'influx douloureux.
Les résultats ont montré une amélioration tant au niveau de la symptomatologie du patient
que de son état général. Cependant certains éléments du traitement effectué peuvent être
améliorés ou modifiés.
Outre l'analyse du motif de consultation et de ses causes, il est important de prendre
également en compte les facteurs aggravants.
Dans le cas de la colopathie fonctionnelle, l'ostéopathie est d'autant plus intéressante
puisqu'elle n'agit pas simplement sur un symptôme ou sur une maladie, mais considère le
patient comme un tout, devant être appréhendé dans son ensemble.

The functional colonopathy is characterized by the continuous reappearance of certainly
mild but painful symptoms for the patient, on a favorable ground (intestinal sentimentality,
anxious personality) and under the effect of triggering factors.
The objective of this study is to estimate the efficiency of an ostéopathique treatment on a
person reached(affected) by the syndrome of irritable colonist and to define the best
tracks(runways) of treatment.
The osteopathy allows a relaxation(slackening) tissular, delete(eliminate) the facial
tensions, restores a dynamics in the digestive and affable tract in a deactivation of
mécanorécepteurs / nocicepteurs stopping the origin of the painful impulse.
The results(profits) showed an improvement both at the level of the symptomatologie of
the patient and of his(her) general state. However certain elements of the made treatment
can be improved or modified.
Besides the analysis of the motive for consultation and for its causes, it is important to take
into account also the aggravating factors(mailmen).
In the case of the functional colonopathy, the osteopathy is all the more interesting because
she does not act simply on a symptom or on a disease, but considers the patient as a whole,
that must be arrested(dreaded) in general.
