Because the clavicule is at the junction of three regions of the body, it receives much myofascial influences. Could it be an element that will allow us to diagnose a primary dysfonction of the patient ?
To answer this question, it is necessary to explain the anatomy of the fasciae, their links with the clavicule and the osteopathic physiology of this bone considering the micro-motion concept of the human body.
The clinical study of the micro-motion concept (an involuntary movement) of the clavicule put in parallel with other osteopathic tests show us that the clavicule indicates a direction but not an precise dysfonction. At the end of a session, a free osteopathic key means that the treatment has been effective.
